And each climbed the shimmering fabric up to a dream world not unlike the earth that they fell asleep on. The cinder that now spins in your new lungs was once fertile soil. And look with me across the land, Jeffrey. Paint with your eyes carpets of emerald plains, mountaintops lost in rolling cloud, furious rivers surging through sheer canyons. And picture a glorious sun, uneclipsed by devices, undiminished by choking smog. This is what the Framers first stumbled upon in their nightclothes…”
